Taking a Swing at the Louisville Slugger Museum
Louisville Slugger Museum!
November 1st,
A great way to start our morning in Lousiville! We began the big tour of the museum at 10:30. We learned about the bat-making and the branding process, the bat vault with bats from famous players, and the history of the bats. Our tour guide took us through the factory and explained the different types of wood used to make bats over time and the different machines used. Sluggar bats are made from three types of wood: Birch, Ash, and Maple. At the end of the tour, they gave out small baseball bats for free.
