St. Francis 2025-2026 FFA Chapter Takes Indiana, Indianapolis!
2025 National FFA Convention!
October 28th - November 2nd
Seven of the FFA members got the wonderful opportunity of going to the 98th Annual National FFA Convention and Expo all the way in Indianapolis! To begin the trip, Tuesday, we waited until the Junior High and High School music concert concluded around 9:00 pm. Once we loaded our luggage into the van we drove into the night four hours to Salina, KS and stayed at the La Quinta Hotel. Getting an early morning start, we continued to drive for ten hours on Wednesday. We then stayed in a VRBO hotel in Indianapolis. Our first order of business was to go to the convention at Lucas Oil Stadium. There, every chapter who attended, listened to music and danced around the auditorium to begin the session at 7:00 in the morning. Then we listened to last year's officers President - Thaddeus Bergschneider, Vice President - Mary Schrieber, Sentinel - Jack Lingenfelter, Reporter - Abigale Jacobsen, Reporter - Caroline Groth, and Secretary - Juke Jennings. We also enjoyed hearing a motivational speaker, A'rick Jackson, who spoke to us to encourage us to find ourselves and find success even if we are judged by others.
